Between May 21–23, 2025, Berlin hosted Gitex Europe, one of the most important events in Europe dedicated to technology and digital innovation. The National Union of Romanian Employers – South-East Region (UNPR-RSE) was represented by an active delegation composed of member companies Admin Tools, Virtono and Cult of CodersTheir participation was made possible with the support of ARIES-TM, as part of Romania’s official delegation, which included 16 companies.
A highlight of this participation was the networking event "Romanian Evening", organized at the national delegation’s booth. Here, UNPR-RSE representatives — Teodora Moraru (Vice President and President of the Young Entrepreneurs Commission) and Carmen Ispas (Vice President and Executive Director) — had the honor of meeting Her Excellency Adriana-Loreta Stănescu, Romania’s Ambassador to Germany..
Members of BVMW (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft), Germany’s largest employers’ association representing over 900,000 SMEs, were also invited to the event. The participation of BVMW representatives was further supported by the involvement of Adina Utes, a member of the organization in Germany, who actively contributed to strengthening connections between the two business ecosystems throughout the conference.
UNPR and BVMW had previously signed a partnership agreement, thereby strengthening bilateral relations and encouraging collaboration between the business communities of Romania and Germany. The discussions held during the event focused on new joint initiatives and opportunities to support the development of SMEs.
Romanian technology at international standards
UNPR-RSE’s presence at Gitex Europe highlighted the strength and diversity of the Romanian tech ecosystem. The three participating member companies showcased through their products and services that Romania not only keeps pace with global trends but also brings forward innovative solutions at the international level.
