Budapest, April 2025 – The Port of Constanța was once again in the spotlight during the 17th edition of the Constanța Port Day event, organized in the Hungarian capital. Among the distinguished participants was Midia International, part of the Prodexport Logistics group, one of the most dynamic logistics structures in Romania.
The presence at the event was a natural step for a company directly involved in developing the logistics infrastructure between the Black Sea and Central Europe. Midia International highlighted the modern capabilities of its port terminal and the potential for international collaboration through efficient and sustainable transportation.
A strong group, a shared vision
Midia International was not alone in Budapest. It was present alongside the entire Prodexport Logistics group, bringing together the expertise and infrastructure of several complementary companies:
– Water Power Energy (WPE) specialized operator for liquid terminals, grain, and dry bulk cargo;
– Multimodal Projects integrated logistics for special projects, heavy transports, and regional operations;
– LUMA Riversea strategic partner for large-scale logistics projects;
– Utilaj Greu S.A. company with a strong history in port construction and heavy equipment;
– GATA Resources Management industrial project management and offshore/onshore services.
Together, these companies form a solid logistics ecosystem, ready to support international trade through the Port of Constanța – a key link between Eastern and Central Europe.
Connection with Central Europe
The event in Budapest brought together over 150 participants from the port and logistics sectors, representing an important opportunity for dialogue and partnership between Romania and Hungary. The Prodexport Logistics group emphasized the advantages of the Constanța–Budapest river route, offering modern transport and storage solutions for a wide range of goods: grain, cement, livestock, petroleum products, and industrial equipment.
