Teodora addressed vital topics for any technology startup, such as developing a minimum viable product (MVP) and investment attraction strategies.
What is an MVP?
During the presentation, Teodora defined MVP as the simplest version of a product that can be launched to market, designed to meet the needs of initial users and through which founders can collect maximum feedback with minimal effort. This is a crucial step in avoiding the development of functionalities that do not bring significant added value.
The steps of developing an MVP
Teodora explained the process of developing an MVP, which starts with identifying and understanding customer needs (Empathise), followed by defining the problem (Define), brainstorming for solutions (Ideate), building a prototype (Prototype) and testing it (Test). These steps are part of the design thinking process, which encourages innovation and rapid iteration.
Creating User Personas and the Strategy of Storyboard
Another key aspect discussed was the creation of User Personaswhich are semi-fictional representations of target customers. These help in understanding user behavior and personalizing product development. Additionally, Teodora emphasized the importance of using storyboards to visualize how users interact with the product.
From Wireframe to Testing
The presentation also covered the stages of wireframing, from low to high fidelity, which are essential for the logical structure of the application. Finally, Teodora discussed the importance of testing and analysis, emphasizing that the first version of a product should be simple yet functional enough to attract useful feedback.
