Over time, INP has carried out landmark projects in Dobrogea focused on the research, documentation, and valorisation of cultural and multicultural heritage, contributing to the consolidation of a living archive of local identity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among these are:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Constan\u021ba Multietnic\u0103<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 a careful mapping of cultural diversity and urban memory;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Boem\u0103 \u0219i Loisir!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 an initiative dedicated to built heritage, architecture, and lifestyles;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Multiculturality and Traditional Gastronomy in Dobrogea<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 a research project bringing together cultural and food heritage;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The Summer Schools in Eforie Sud and H\u00e2r\u0219ova<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 educational programs that included guided tours, field visits, and workshops carried out together with local communities.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within the project <\/span><b>Multiculturality and Traditional Gastronomy in Dobrogea<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the short film <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fWgdbyFmfgQ?si=N2XOtVbCmS773moZ\"><strong>\u201dFlavours of Dobrogea\u201d<\/strong><\/a> was produced through a partnership between INP and Riviera Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, dedicated to showcasing the region\u2019s gastronomic heritage and identity. The film was awarded at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/flavoursofdobrogea.com\/2025\/10\/05\/flavors-of-dobrogea-a-journey-through-ethnic-cuisine-wins-the-culinary-journeys-award-at-food-film-menu-2025\/\"><b>Food Film Menu 2025<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a competition organized by IGCAT in Barcelona, bringing the taste of Dobrogea to the international stage and confirming the region\u2019s potential to tell its story through culture and gastronomy.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These initiatives demonstrate that Dobrogea already has a coherent track record in documenting and promoting its multicultural heritage \u2014 an essential foundation for its candidacy for the title of European Region of Gastronomy 2029.<\/span><\/p><p><b>A Shared Framework for Cultural and Gastronomic Projects<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The protocol establishes a framework for cooperation in initiating and implementing cultural, educational, and tourism projects centered on the living heritage of the regions involved. In the case of Dobrogea, the collaboration focuses on:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the documentation of local gastronomic heritage and its integration into the 2029 candidacy;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the development of projects dedicated to intangible heritage;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">methodological support for the development of promotional materials;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the alignment of public communication regarding heritage and regional identity.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBy signing this protocol, the National Institute of Heritage assumes an active role in supporting the regions that carry forward Romania\u2019s gastronomic heritage.
