workshop dedicated to education through taste, organized by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dobrogeagastronomicregion.com\"><b>Explore Dobrogea<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/Zbor-Hub-Constan%C8%9Ba-61566892135534\/\"><b>Zbor Hub Constan\u021ba<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taste of Dobrogea | Local Food Challenge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> brought forward the simple yet essential values of local gastronomy: food made with clean ingredients and with respect for the Dobrogean land.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Stories about rare seeds and authentic href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61572463474878\"><b>Mo\u0219ia Generalului<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , who spoke to the students about the responsibility of preserving biodiversity and the deep connection between people, nature, and food.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants had the opportunity to explore some of the products grown on their farm at a specially arranged stand: vegetables and aromatic plants such as <\/span><b>elephant garlic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Baghera peppers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>purple potatoes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Sous-Chef Laura Titoiu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rozmarine.constanta\"><b>Rozmarine<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the students prepared a <\/span><b>Dobrogean salad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> using local ingredients provided by the event partners.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each participant created their own version of the salad, inspired by childhood flavors, the colors of Dobrogea, and their own sense of creativity.<\/span><\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4589\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/octavian.baloi\"><b>Octavian B\u0103loi<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">adding that \u201cin this workshop, all participants were winners.\u201d The three awarded plates stood out for their <\/span><\/i><b><i>balanced flavors, creativity, and the way they highlighted local ingredients<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><b><i>First Prize \u2013 Florea Irina Melek, Second Prize \u2013 Coman Diana Maria, Third Prize \u2013 Dumitru Riana Maria<\/i><\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the workshop, discussions focused on <\/span><b>food waste<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>the importance of consuming local products<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, how to recognize real flavor in <\/span><b>naturally grown foods<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the role each generation plays in preserving gastronomic identity.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Stories of flavor and tradition from the Danube Delta<\/b><\/h3><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4590 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taste of Dobrogea | Local Food Challenge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> showed that local gastronomy can be a form of education and a bridge between
