Over 15 ethnic groups coexist here, and its culinary heritage stands as a symbol of harmony and living tradition.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25b6 Dobrogea\u2019s candidacy represents a historic opportunity to turn this heritage into a competitive advantage \u2014 in tourism, hospitality, agriculture, and education.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u25b6 The title brings international visibility, investment, economic growth, and the strengthening of an authentic regional identity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe take on the role of initiator and regional coordinator in this strategic project. Dobrogea has all the right ingredients to become a European benchmark in sustainable gastronomy, and this candidacy marks the beginning of a collective effort \u2014 by and for the local community.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014 <\/span><b>Daniel Constantin Moraru, President of UNPR-RSE<\/b><\/p><h3><b>Why the year 2029?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since Harghita will hold the title in 2027, and Banat has already applied for 2028, Dobrogea aims to apply for the year <\/span><b>2029<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>What is IGCAT and why does the title matter?<\/b><\/h3><p><b>IGCAT \u2013 the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a prestigious international organization founded in 2012, bringing together experts, universities, thought leaders, and European institutions. Dobrogea was represented through four traditional products:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mosiosif.ro\/\"><b>Mo\u0219 Iosif<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 a gift set of dry-cured meats: Tatar ghiudem, babic, beef pastrami, and smoked duck breast.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dobrodulce.ro\/\"><b>Dobrodulce<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 an artisanal set featuring natural honey (acacia and linden), a beeswax candle, and a handwoven reed basket.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Darie Wines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Cuv\u00e9e Ruxandra (aged white wine with notes of peach and vanilla) and Str\u0103bun Feteasc\u0103 Neagr\u0103 (deep red wine with aromas of black cherries and wild herbs).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/techir.ro\/\"><b>Techir \u2013 Food for Skin<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 a skincare set with therapeutic mud and saline water from Techirghiol, enriched with
